January 5th – On the afternoon of the 3rd local time, after receiving a report of hostage-taking, the Paris security department dispatched the elite Black Panther Commando (RAID) to intervene at the blockade site of Boulogne-Biangou in the western suburbs of Haute Seine Province, only to find that someone reported a fake police.

According to the Parisian, at about 16:00 on the 3rd, the Paris security department received a call from two different numbers describing a hostage-taking incident on the third floor of a building at the corner of the Sli Road and the Road to Galini in Boulogne-Biangu.

A man took several children for the intention of extorting ransom.

Police sources said that the first call received came from a mobile phone, but the location was not at all in Haute-Seine, while in Andr-Loire, it belonged to a 71-year-old woman.

The second call is made through a temporary fixed line provided by a Belgian company, which specializes in providing local virtual telephone numbers.

After receiving the report, the security forces quickly deployed police to the nine-storey residential building and blocked the whole Slie-Galini neighborhood.

A local resident described that he saw a number of police cars roaring, including the highest security department, and many policemen came to the scene, and then the special police of the Black Panther Commando team arrived on an impressive scale.

However, the Panther Commando entered the residential building and learned from different families in the building that no special circumstances actually occurred, and the intervention ended before 19 p.m.

The report said that the police are currently looking for callers.

According to Article 322-14 of the French Criminal Code, it is prohibited to “provide or disclose false information to convince people that an accident has occurred and may lead to unnecessary rescue operations”, and offenders will face up to two years’ imprisonment and a fine of 30,000 euros.
