9th December the French Ministry of Ecology, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Agriculture issued a joint announcement saying that the analysis and investigation of four mink farms in France by the French National Food, Environment and Labor Health Agency (ANSES) has been completed.

The farms that first discovered the coronavirus epidemic in the department of Earl-Loire in central and western France have killed all 1,000 mink farms, while three other farms have no viral infection so far.

The announcement also said that the mutation of the novel coronavirus here can be ruled out by analyzing the genetic sequence analysis of virus samples extracted from relevant farms.

The French Ministry of Ecology, Ministry of Health and Agriculture jointly reported the COVID-19 epidemic on mink farms in El Loy on November 22 local time, and said that other farms would be investigated immediately.

The three ministries believe that the local human-to-mink transmission of the novel coronavirus is the most likely source of the epidemic on the farm.

For mink and aquaculture personnel in three other farms, the French National Food, Environment and Labor Health Agency is currently developing corresponding regulations for COVID-19 infection monitoring.
