December 14th – On the 13th, local time, a former aide to Governor Cuomo of New York posted on Twitter that she had been sexually harassed by Cuomo for many years.
Lindsey Boylan tweeted several tweets directly @ Cuomo himself, saying she sexually harassed her for many years, and Boylan also stressed that there were witnesses, “many people have seen I’m not the only woman.”
Boylan also talked about the place where she used to work, calling Como’s office the “most harmful environment” she had worked, and had three attempts to leave.
“The allegations are simply nonsense,” Cuomo spokesman Caitlin Girouard said in a statement. Boilan did not immediately respond to requests for comment from reporters, and she tweeted that she was “not interested in talking to reporters”.
Boylan served as Como’s Under-Secretary-General for Economic Development and Special Adviser from 2015 to 2018. Several U.S. media said on the 11th that Biden will soon nominate the Attorney General, and New York Governor Cuomo appeared on the candidate list.
