Recently, the FIVB announced the Paris Olympic cycle, the 2021-2024 World Volleyball Tournament schedule outline, to determine the approximate match time of national leagues, intercontinental championships, national leagues, intercontinental club games and World Club Cup events.
However, the World Cup and the Grand Champions Cup in the three major tournaments were cancelled.
The Paris Olympic cycle mainly includes volleyball competitions such as the Paris Olympics, the 2022 World Championships, the National Volleyball League, the 2021 and 2023 Intercontinental Championships and their qualifying matches, national leagues, intercontinental club games and the World Club Cup.
The 2022 World Championships will be held from August to October, the 2021 and 2023 Intercontinental Championships will be held from August to September of that year, and the Olympic qualification matches will be held in the second half of September 2023.
