The BBC reported on February 16 that “false comments” on Amazon’s Marketplace goods are being sold in bulk online. Consumer rights organization “Which?” Recently, it was found that 10 websites are providing false comments.
Some websites provide Amazon third-party sellers with a package price of £15, 50 articles starting from £620, and 1,000 comments up to £8,000.
The consumer advocacy group said that in the five companies surveyed, there were more than 702,000 registered commodity reviewers, who could receive small rewards ranging from a few pounds to more than £10 in addition to free or discounted goods.
An Amazon spokesman said that the company would delete fake product comments and take measures against bad sellers.
