According to a report from the Russian Satellite News Agency on the 9th, local Azerbaijani media quoted Turkish sources on the 8th as saying that Turkey is building air bases in the three cities of Ganja, Liangkalan, and Gabele in Azerbaijan.

On the 8th, Dar Gahre, Director of the Information Service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, responded that “this news is not in accordance with the facts.”

Dalgahre also pointed out that, except for the provisions of the corresponding agreement, Azerbaijan does not support the policy of deploying foreign military bases in its territory.
