Beirut, January 3 An explosion occurred in a Lebanese fuel depot near the Lebanese-Syrian border on the 3rd, injuring at least 10 people.
Lebanese media quoted George Katana, Secretary-General of the National Red Cross Society, as saying that the explosion occurred in a fuel depot in the town of Gasel in the Hillmiller region in eastern Lebanon.
The explosion caused a fire, injuring at least 10 people.
The Red Cross sent rescue workers to the scene of the accident, and the injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment.
It is reported that fuel smuggling in the Lebanese-Syrian border area is serious, and the fuel depot of the incident is privately owned.
At present, the cause of the explosion is not clear, and the relevant local agencies have launched an investigation.
