According to local media reports on April 13, Lieutenant General Bacha Debel, coordinator of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces, said that the military junta organization of the “Tigray People’s Liberation Front” (TPLF) operating in eight areas of Tigray State had been eliminated. He described the actions of the Ethiopian Wehrmacht over the past week, saying that the use of modern technology has destroyed the groups and small military training camps organized by the Frentice Frentice in different areas of Tigray State.
Lieutenant General Bacha said that the junta of the Front may no longer exist, but the defense army will continue to take strong measures until full control of the area.
In November 2020, the FPF military junta launched an armed conflict against the Ethiopian IDF base in Tigray State, Ethiopia, opening up a nearly month-long concentrated “enforcement operation” by the Ethiopian federal government. Since then, the conflict has turned into a sporadic pattern. The Ethiopian F-FDTL has been continuing to take control measures in Tigray State, and several leaders of the FPF military junta have been arrested one after another.
