APRIL 18 EIGHT PEOPLE WERE KILLED AND 26 INJURED WHEN A TRAIN DERAILED IN EGYPT, ARAB NEWS REPORTED WEDNESDAY.
According to the United Arab Emirates “National News” 18 quoted local Egyptian media and eyewitnesses, the accident occurred at around 2 pm local time, at least 5 carriages derailed, 20 ambulances rushed to the scene to rescue.
It was the second derailment in Egypt in a week. In the last accident, two carriages derailed, injuring 15 passengers. Less than a month ago, another accident in southern Egypt killed 20 people and injured more than 200.
