According to a statement issued by the Egyptian local media on January 6, the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum announced that the Egyptian Petroleum Products Automatic Pricing Committee decided that the prices of gasoline and diesel products on the current local market will remain unchanged in the first quarter of 2021.
The committee made the above decision according to the actual situation of the current COVID-19 epidemic in Egypt.
At present, in the local market in Egypt, the price of No. 80 gasoline is 6.25 EGP/liter, No. 92 gasoline is 7.5 EGP/L, No. 95 gasoline is 8.5 EGP/liter, and diesel is 6.75 EGP/L.
At present, the Egyptian government reviews fuel prices every three months based on the international oil price and the US dollar exchange rate.
