Egypt, Cyprus and other five countries held joint military exercises in the Mediterranean Sea.
Cairo, December 1 The Egyptian military issued a statement on the 1st that Egypt, Cyprus, Greece, France and the United Arab Emirates, recently began to hold joint naval and air force exercises code-named “Medusa 10” in the Mediterranean Egyptian waters.
The statement said that the exercise would last for several days. Saudi Arabia, the United States, Bahrain, Italy and other countries participated in the exercise as observer states.
The statement said that the participating troops will conduct a number of joint naval and air force combat exercises to exercise the commander’s ability to carry out joint combat tasks. The purpose of this exercise is to strengthen professional exchanges between participating troops and improve the combat readiness of participating troops.
