Sarajevo, December 22 The Clinical Center of Luka University of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a statement on the 22nd that Dodik, the rotating chairman (President) of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Doddick has symptoms of dyspnea and stomach pain, but is currently in stable condition and is receiving treatment, the statement said.
According to the social media release of Doddick’s party, the Independent Social Democratic Union, Doddick felt tired on the 19th and was admitted to the hospital on the 21st.
Born in 1959, Dodik was elected to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina on behalf of the Serbs in the Bosnia and Herzegovina general election held in October 2018.
According to the statistics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as of the 22nd, there were 106,896 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 3,792 deaths in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
