Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine: Ukraine is willing to become an important ally of the United States in the Black Sea region

According to the Russian Satellite News Agency on December 17, Oliga Stefanishna, Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration and Euro-Atlantic Integration, said that the Ukrainian government is willing to become one of the important allies of the United States in the Black Sea region and hopes to establish a systematic partnership with the United States.

Stefanishna said at the “Ukraine in Washington” international conference that she hopes to get US support on Ukraine’s accession to NATO.

She said that Ukraine has made great efforts to modernize and upgrade its armed forces in order to narrow the gap with NATO standards.
