Current NASA administrator says he will leave after Biden becomes president

by YCPress

NASA Administrator Jim Bradenstein, who was appointed by Trump in 2018, announced that once Biden enters the White House, he will step down even if Biden stays.

He said that the decision was in the interests of NASA: NASA needs a person who is close to the President of the United States and trusted by the US government to lead it, and he does not think he is a suitable candidate for the new government.

Bradenstein was a Republican representative of Oklahoma.

He was criticized when he was appointed by Trump because the position was always held by non-political figures such as scientists and former astronauts.
