During the general election in Myanmar, the armed conflict in Rakhine State continued. At around 7 pm on November 10, local time, a shell fell into a village in Anzhen, injuring six villagers, including a 3-year-old child. The injured have been sent to two local hospitals for treatment.

According to villagers, on the morning of the incident, the Burmese government army and the Rakhine ethnic armed forces clashed less than ten kilometers from the village. That night, the artillery shells that fell into the village were shot from the direction of the government troops stationed.

At present, most of the villagers have fled the village and sought refuge in refugee camps.
