Kim Jong-un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, made a programmatic conclusion on the Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Kim Jong-un pointed out the basic thought and spirit of the Eight National Congresses of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and emphasized that the whole party once again remembers and adheres to the three concepts of “taking the people as the sky”, “unite with one heart” and “self-reliance”.
Kim Jong-un said that in order to strive for a new victory in the socialist cause and achieve brilliant progress, it is necessary to have the determination to carry out an arduous positive breakthrough war, and warmly called for the realization of the struggle platform proposed by the conference, to promote the strengthening development and revolutionary cause of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and to work hard for the Korean people.
On the same day, Kim Jong-un also participated in the Sun Palace of Jinxiu Mountain with members of the leading body of the new Workers’ Party of Korea.
The Workers’ Party of Korea was held in Pyongyang from January 5 to 12, and Kim Jong-un was elected as the General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
