On the evening of the 14th local time, two Arab children living in the Israeli city of Jaffa were injured in a Molotov cocktail attack at their home.
According to the Israeli medical authorities, the two children were a 12-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl. The boy suffered moderate burns to his body and his daughter suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
According to the child’s father, the children were sitting in the living room when the incident occurred and suddenly threw a Molotov cocktail through the window.
The child’s father immediately carried the children into the bathroom bathtub and put out the flames with the help of a neighbor. Two men fled the scene after the incident, according to surveillance camera footage. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
As a result of the recent ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, frequent confrontations and even riots between Arab and Jewish residents living in Israel, some extremists have begun to retaliate against each other’s populations, such as attacks.
12, the Israeli government declared a state of emergency in the central city of Lude because of the serious conflict between local A-Utah residents.
A large number of Israeli border police, formerly stationed in the West Bank, were also moved to Lude. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he would “severely crack down on lawbreakers” and “restore calm and order to the city.”
