Chinese student stabbed by gunman in Canada

A Chinese student has been stabbed by a gunman at a subway station in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Police later arrested a man in his 30s.

The Chinese Consulate General in Calgary attached great importance to the case and promptly contacted the police in the city of Ethiopia and urged him to solve the case as soon as possible, punish the perpetrators in accordance with the law, and make every effort to ensure the personal safety of Chinese citizens. 

The Consulate General contacted the school and asked him to provide the necessary assistance to the injured students. The Consulate General will continue to monitor the progress of the case.
