China’s coronavirus vaccine is tested in the third phase in Turkey. Turkish media: No major side effects have occurred among the participants in the trial.
According to a report by Turkey’s Daily Libertine on December 1, Turkish officials said that Turkey has closely observed volunteers participating in the third phase of the clinical trial of China’s coronavirus vaccine.
At present, the results of the trial show no major side effects.
On September 15, the third phase of China’s coronavirus vaccine was launched in Turkey. The participants in the vaccination included medical workers at high risk of infection and other volunteers at medium risk. At present, no serious side effects have been reported in the trial.
The third phase of the Chinese coronavirus vaccine was tested in 25 centers in 12 provinces of Turkey. Volunteers will be vaccinated for a second dose 14 days after the first dose. Volunteers will be closely observed within 28 days of vaccination.
After 28 days, volunteers will receive weekly telephone callbacks for a year to track their health.
