China provides second batch of food aid to South Sudan
The handover of the second batch of grains aided by the Chinese government to South Sudan was
held on the 26th at the warehouse of the National Transitional Committee of South Sudan.
Parr, Minister of the Ministry of Peace and Construction of South Sudan and Secretary-General of the National Transitional Committee
thanked the Chinese government and people for their valuable support, saying that China’s assistance will effectively promote the
peace process in South Sudan, and the South will ensure the full and effective use of materials.
According to reports, in order to support South Sudan’s implementation of t
he revitalization peace agreement and advance the building of a
unified army, the Chinese government has successively provided a number of material assistance to South Sudan since last year.
