[China and Russia militaries organize the implementation of the 2021 Joint Air Strategic Cruise] \
The Ministry of National Defense of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of National Defense of the Russian Federation jointly announced that on November 19, the Asia-Pacific region of the air positions of China and Russia organized the implementation of a joint air strategic cruise.
China sent 2 H-6K aircraft and a joint formation with 2 Tu-95MC aircraft from Russia to organize joint cruises in the relevant airspace of the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea. During the flight, the air force aircraft of the two countries strictly abided by the relevant provisions of international law and did not enter the airspace of other countries.
This is the third joint air strategic cruise carried out by the Chinese and Russian militaries.
It aims to further develop the comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership between China and Russia in the new era, improve the level of strategic cooperation and joint operational capabilities of the two sides, and jointly maintain global strategic stability.
This operation is a project in the annual cooperation plan between the Chinese and Russian militaries, and is not aimed at third parties.
