The spokesman said Chadian troops also captured more than 150 militants and 26 motor vehicles, a total of five Chadian troops were killed and 36 injured.
According to local media reports, the Chadian military said the militants were members of the rebel group Front for Change and Concorde in Chad. The group is mainly active in southern Libya near the border with Chad.
