December 21st – Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau said on Twitter on the 21st that he had met with the emergency response team and decided to impose a new round of border blockade on the United Kingdom.
At present, more than a dozen countries have taken measures to prevent the further spread of new strains of COVID-19 in the UK.
Trudeau said in a tweet that all flights from the United Kingdom will be banned from entering Canada for the next 72 hours, and passengers entering Canada today will be subject to secondary testing and relevant measures will be strengthened.
At least 12 countries, including Italy, France, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Greece, Switzerland, Turkey, Kuwait, Bulgaria and Argentina, have taken measures to deal with the discovery of new strains of the novel coronavirus in the United Kingdom.
