Among the first group of people receiving vaccinations, Professor Assen Baltov, director of the Pirogov emergency hospital in Sofia, called for the public to be immunized, emphasizing that the vaccine is harmless.
Professor Krassmir Gigov, head of the Bulgarian National Vaccine Headquarters, was also injected at the Pirogov hospital. He called on everyone to get vaccinated, saying it was the only way out.
