February 13th, local time, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said during a visit to a vaccine factory that he would announce on the 22nd of this month that England would gradually relax the pandemic blockade measures currently in place.
He pointed out that education is a priority for the government, and primary and secondary schools will open on March 8, followed by the liberalization of non-essential stores.
Johnson said that although the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Scotland is now declining, it is still very high overall.
The next step is to observe the effectiveness of the vaccine, and the focus is whether the vaccine and related measures can really reduce the infection rate.
