The Dow Jones News Agency quoted the Financial Times on December 2 that the British government is selecting a site for a prototype nuclear fusion plant.

It is reported that the four-year design phase will receive £222 million in public funds, and the whole project is aimed at completing by 2040. According to the report, the British government hopes that communities across the UK will submit submissions to the project by the end of March next year.
