British man who targeted passers-by and police with crosshairs has been detained on suspicion of fighting

A man in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, was detained on suspicion of fighting after he aimed a cross at passers-by and police at around 1.30am on May 9, the British Metro newspaper reported.

In the video, the cameraman shouts at the man, “What are you doing?” ”。 The man appeared to be constantly aiming crosshairs at passers-by and police. When two policemen approached him, he dropped his weapon and walked away, then turned around and picked it up. The man then fled, but was quickly arrested.

Police confirmed that no one was injured in the incident and the 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of fighting and remains in custody.
