The number of poor Brazilian families with monthly incomes between Rénénés 89 and Rénés 178 (about Rénés 217) approached 2.88 million at the end of October last year.
According to the data of the Brazilian Ministry of Citizenship at the end of November last year, about 12.4 million of the 14 million registered families in extreme poverty received assistance from the government’s social assistance fund program in 2020, but this involves 291.8 billion reals.
The aid plan expired at the end of December last year. At present, a new rescue alternative plan has not yet been released.
