January 23 local time, a mine bomb attack occurred in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, killing at least five people.
The bomb attacked the vehicle of former Somali parliamentarian Muhddin Hassan Afra.
He was injured in the explosion and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to local media reports, just last month, Afra had just experienced a car bombing and survived.
No organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
