Biden puts forward new conditions on the Iran nuclear agreement
The New York Times said on Wednesday local time that U.S. President-elect Joe Biden insisted that Iran agree to the new demand if it wants the United States to return to the nuclear agreement and lift sanctions, according to the New York Times on Wednesday local time.
The New York Times said that the Biden administration would seek to extend the period of “limiting Iran’s production of fissile material” in a new round of negotiations, which “may be used to make (nuclear) bombs”.
According to the report, Iran must also solve the problem of its “harmful” regional activities through its agents in Lebanon, Iraq, Syria and Yemen in the negotiations, and Arab neighbors, including Saudi Arabia, should also participate in the negotiations.
