Austrian Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner begins home quarantine due To Contact infected Coronavirus Confirmed Case
November 19 Austrian Minister of Defense Klaudia Tanner is currently quarantining at home due to contact with patients who tested positive for Coronavirus.
The Austrian Ministry of Defense announced that Klaudia Tanner had direct contact with a person infected with the Coronavirus. Although she tested negative for Coronavirus for the first time, the Minister of Defense will work from home for security reasons. Klaudia Tanner is 50 years old and has served as Austrian Minister of Defense since January 2020.
At 14:00 on the same day, data from the Austrian Ministry of Health showed that in the past 24 hours, there were 6,830 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the country, and a total of 228,058 confirmed cases; 90 new deaths and a total of 2018 deaths; a total of 111,571 cases were cured.
As of now, a total of 4952 patients with Coronavirus have been treated in hospitals, of which 682 patients have been treated in the intensive care unit.
