Australia will ban Australian citizens and residents from India from entering the country

Australian Health Minister Greg Hunt said in a statement that Australian residents and citizens from India would be barred from entering Australia, and violators could face fines of up to A$66,600, or up to five years in prison, or both, foreign media reported on May 1. The measure will take effect from May 3.
