At least 64 people have been injured in a tanker explosion in northern Nigeria

Nigeria’s fire department said Wednesday that at least 64 people were injured in an oil tanker explosion in kano state in northern Nigeria.

Sanino State Fire Department spokesman Saminu Abdullahi said in a statement that a tanker truck 22 afternoon in the state capital Kano City, a gas station unloading oil suddenly burst into flames, resulting in many people were injured at the scene. Firefighters were called to the scene and eight firefighters were injured during the fire.
