At least 5 people on a Norwegian cruise ship suspected of having the new coronavirus have tested positive for DNA
APNEWS: that the Norwegian Sea Dream Yacht Club, a cruise ship named “Sea Dream One”, set sail from the Caribbean island of Barbados on the 7th, and then sailed in the Caribbean Sea. A passenger became unwell on the 11th and the cruise ship returned to Barbados.
Local officials asked everyone on board to be tested for the coronavirus before landing, and at least five people tested positive. The club announced on the 13th that one of its cruise ships will be suspended, and all crew and passengers will be tested for the coronavirus again.
“Haimeng No. 1” has a displacement of approximately 4,200 tons and is designed to carry up to 112 passengers. A passenger told the Associated Press that there were more than 60 crew members and more than 50 passengers on the cruise ship, most of which were from the United States.
Haimeng Yacht Club said in a statement late on the 13th that everyone on board is being tested again, and all crew members have tested negative.
