Consumer News and Business Channel (CNBC) reported on January 29 that the coronavirus vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford University has been approved by the European Drug Administration (EMA).

EMA said Friday that it had assessed the safety and effectiveness of the AstraZeneca vaccine, recommending that the European Commission grant the vaccine a formal conditional marketing authorization.
