December 25th local time, Armenian Prime Minister Paschinyan said on his social networking website that he would resign as Prime Minister if the Armenian people decide to let him step down.
He said that at present, the majority of the Armenian people do not support the opposition’s request for him to resign. At present, Armenia is in the most difficult period.
If the Armenian people trust him, he will continue to serve as Prime Minister. He added that parliamentary elections would be held early in 2021, which is the only way to solve the problem at present.
Since November 10, the Armenian opposition has held many demonstrations due to dissatisfaction with the government’s signing of the ceasefire agreement in the Nagorno-Karabakh and demanded that Prime Minister Pahiniyan step down.
