Armenia and Azerbaijan agree to implement a ceasefire in the Naka region starting on the 26th

On the 25th, the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the Naka region continued. In the evening, the United States, Armenia and Azerbaijan issued a joint statement to implement a ceasefire from the 26th.

On the 25th, the conflict in the Naka region continued. According to the Armenian Ministry of National Defense, the Azerbaijani army regularly opened fire on the road connecting Armenia and the Naka region and nearby residents.

Armenia shot down an enemy drone that day. According to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, Armenian armed forces shelled residential areas such as Agdam and Tertel, and Azerbaijan counterattacked. 

In addition, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has released a video showing the use of high-precision weapons to destroy Armenian army armored vehicles. On the 25th, Azerbaijani President Aliyev announced that the Azerbaijani army had occupied many villages in Gubadre and Jebrail.

Later on the 25th, the United States, Armenia and Azerbaijan issued a joint statement stating that the two countries will realize a humanitarian ceasefire in the Naka region from 8 o’clock on the 26th local time.
