Bloomberg reported on December 8 that US President Trump’s ban on the video sharing app TikTok was blocked by another federal judge.
U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols of the District of Columbia said on December 7 that if another Pennsylvania ban on the previous one was overturned on appeal, there should be an injunction against it.
Reuters said that after another U.S. judge in Pennsylvania blocked the restrictions originally scheduled to take effect on November 12.
The Trump administration’s proposed ban will ban companies from providing web services that make TikTok accessible in the U.S.
TikTok tried to block the ban in a court in Washington, D.C., and an independent group of TikTok users filed a separate lawsuit in Pennsylvania.
