An outbreak of aggregation infection in a nursing home in Spain has killed 40 people
Recently, a nursing home in the province of Lerida, Catalonia, Spain, has caused 40 deaths in nursing homes as of December 8 local time, including 6 cases in the past 24 hours.
At present, the outbreak of the epidemic continues, and 137 new confirmed cases have been added in the past few days, of which 94 are elderly people living in nursing homes and 43 are staff.
The local health department took over the nursing home at the end of November and sent medical staff to respond in a hospital manner. A few uninfected people were transferred to other nursing homes.
