An inter-provincial bus accident in Ancache region, Peru, has killed at least 20 people.

The Peruvian government said on the 12th that at about 7 o’clock on the same day, an inter-provincial bus skidded and rolled over in Civas Province in the northern Ankash region of the country, killing at least 20 people and injuring 14.

According to the Parobamba District Municipality on social media, 18 people were killed on the spot in the accident and two others died during the transfer.
