May 11 2021 About 200 gendarmes rushed out to search for the suspect tuesday (11th) local time after an unidentified man shot and killed two people in a southern French town.
The incident took place at 8:30 a.m. local time on the 11th in the town of Les Plantiers, which has a population of about 260 people, Russian satellite news agency reported. Armed, the suspect fled the crime scene after shooting the two men.
After the incident, about 200 gendarmes rushed out to search for the suspect. Authorities in the town of Leprante urged residents not to go out.
