Egyptian media “Seventh Day” Amre Moussa, the former Egyptian Foreign Minister and former Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, has been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus and is currently quarantined and receiving treatment at home.
The Musa Press Office announced on the 1st that he tested positive for the novel coronavirus the day before. In a statement issued on the 2nd, Moussa said that he is currently quarantined at home and in stable condition.
Treatment will be followed under the supervision and guidance of a doctor.
Musa was born in October 1936. He is a famous Egyptian politician and diplomat. He was the Foreign Minister of Egypt from 1991 to 2001 and the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States from 2001 to 2011.
Musa was one of the candidates for the 2012 Egyptian presidential election.
