American man ambushed 2 police officers on a tricycle: one was shot in the face
October 31. According to Fox News, the US police said that two policemen were ambushed by a gunman in the French Quarter of New Orleans on the 30th local time, and one policeman was shot in the face.
New Orleans Police Chief Sean Ferguson said that around 4:30 pm, when two police officers were patrolling, a tricycle passenger shot at them. A police officer was shot in the left cheek and the bullet entered the skull. The policeman was seriously injured but in stable condition.
“He walked into the hospital with his face covered,” Ferguson said. The arm of another policeman was bruised.
Ferguson said that with the help of witnesses, the gunman has been arrested. “He has been sent to the hospital for evaluation. Our police officer has not had any contact with this person before.”
