January 10th local time, Algerian President Teben went to Germany again to treat foot complications caused by COVID-19.
Before leaving, he announced that the treatment was not due to the urgency of the disease, but part of the COVID-19 treatment plan, which was formulated before he returned from Germany on December 29 last year.
He said he hoped that the treatment would end soon, but did not rule out an interventional surgery on the foot.
However, he will continue to perform his presidential duties in Germany.
Teben was diagnosed with COVID-19 at the end of October last year and went to Germany for treatment.
After his condition improved, he returned to Algeria at the end of December last year.
