Afghan security forces have killed 59 Taliban members

24 April 2021 the Afghan Ministry of Defense issued a statement that in the past 24 hours, security forces in Ghazni Province, Wardak Province, Nangarhar Province, Khost Province and Kandahar Province to carry out operations against Taliban militants, in the conflict, 59 Taliban members were killed and 24 Taliban members were injured.

Large quantities of weapons and ammunition from the Taliban were destroyed and 284 different types of homemade mines were found and dismantled by security forces in Khost and Kandahar provinces.
