Thailand’s Education Minister Dinu local time announced on the 27th, due to the impact of the current Coronavirus pandemic, the start of the semester was postponed to June 1.

Dinu said the Ministry of Education, after discussions with relevant departments, believes that the current outbreak is likely to continue to worsen, which will affect teaching activities in most schools, parents of students also expressed concern about the start of school during the outbreak, so decided to postpone the start of school.

The Ministry of Education requires schools to prepare for the start of school on 1 June during this period, and may consider teaching methods such as online classes.
