A Spanish baby recovered from hospital 70 days after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to reports by several Spanish media on January 7th local time, a newborn baby in Valencia, Spain, was officially discharged from the hospital after 70 days of fighting against COVID-19.

Since the baby’s older brother is an asymptomatic patient with COVID-19, the baby named Petru also contracted the novel coronavirus nine days after birth.

Since then, his condition has deteriorated sharply and he was transferred to the pediatric intensive care unit by the hospital.

The baby started with respiratory problems and then developed symptoms such as eating difficulties.

After a long period of recovery, his COVID-19 test results have turned negative and finally recovered from the hospital.
