According to Israeli TV channel 12, on the evening of November 21 local time, a rocket fired from the
Palestinian Gaza Strip into the Israeli city of Ashkelon. Local residents heard air strike alarms and rocket explosions.
An IDF spokesman confirmed the news and said that the rocket exploded in the open space
on the outskirts of Ashkelon and did not cause casualties or property damage.
It is also reported that earlier that day (21st), the Israel Defense Forces arrested two suspects who
smuggled into Israel from the Palestinian Gaza Strip
