Number of new cases is the highest in California in a single day, breaking the record of

13,005 new cases in a single day just set on the 20th.

California now has 1,087,714 confirmed cases, with an average positive rate of 6.1% in seven days and

5.4% in 14 days as of the 21st, according to data released by the state’s Department of Public Health on the same day.
