On November 8, local time, according to a Swedish TV station, a meteor lit up the skies of southern Norway
Finland and Sweden at about 10 pm on the 7th.
At 10:30 pm on the 7th, brighter light was found in many areas of Sweden. Eric Stempels, a researcher in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Uppsala University
said, “Most of the reports we receive are concentrated in Uppsala, Vestmanland, Oreb.
Lu and Stockholm area.” Meteors can be seen passing through the atmosphere and burning.
He said that the meteorite burned completely before it reached the ground.
Norwegian experts estimate that the weight of the meteorite is about 100 kg and the diameter is about 30 cm.
